Search inside the scan
Type a word and get the receipt it appears on, with the word boxed on the image itself. Printed or handwritten, photograph or PDF.
Notes · files · everything findable
Notewire reads your Evernote export whole — notes, tags, attachments, and the recognition data Evernote already did for you — then keeps reading every scan and PDF you add after.

Type a word and get the receipt it appears on, with the word boxed on the image itself. Printed or handwritten, photograph or PDF.
Resumable, never duplicating, and it tells you plainly what the export format could not carry across — instead of quietly dropping it.
Note text is always on your machine. Files come down when you want them — but their text is searchable everywhere regardless.
Notes are unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Text costs us nothing, so we don't charge you for it.

nw command lineReading text out of your scans means a machine reads your scans. That machine is our server: every file you add, on your Mac or in your browser, goes to your account and is read there once, so its words are searchable everywhere. We say so rather than claiming an end-to-end encryption that recognition would make impossible.
Your files are encrypted at rest and in transit, the same as every major service. That protects against a stolen disk. It does not mean we can't read them — no product with search inside your documents can honestly claim otherwise.
It'll still be running when you get back, and it will tell you exactly what it found.
